Nestor Punzalan is preparing a case against Top Gear Philippines for mistakenly implicating him in the murder of a cyclist on their Facebook page.
"'Di puwede yung sorry, sorry na lang. Grabe ang ginawa nila, dapat silang managot," Punzalan said in a report on "24 Oras" on Wednesday.
Punzalan voluntarily submitted himself to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday to deny his involvement in the shooting of a cyclist killed in a traffic incident.
He proceeded to the NBI after seeing his vehicle go viral on social media.
The editor-in-chief of the motoring magazine earlier issued an apology for implicating Punzalan and has invited Punzalan's family to discuss a settlement.
Meanwhile, Punzalan's legal counsel DJ Jimenez said the editor committed a form of cyberbullying pursuant to the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
"Liable siya sa Cybercrime Prevention Act dahil para itong isang form by cyberbullying," Jimenez said.
